The show itself is fun and easy, ridiculous (In a good way) but kinda cringe sometimes, and the main villain is cartoonishly evil. Show struggles with something I call "wannabe gen z dialogues and themes" that are kinda painful. But that's fine because it's still enjoyable. What I'm mad at is that Netflix already had great show with the same theme (Lockwood and co.) and they canceled it and created another production also based in uk? In fairness cg is way better in this show and it's quite obvious that it had bigger budget but Lockwood and co. Has better writing and characters are way more likable and less cartoonish. I'm still hoping they will renew it. Overall, it's fun but forgettable unfortunately.
