The other review with loads of likes hasn't recognised there was tons of other ancient literature about King Solomon outside of the Old Testament. The main story used here - Solomon and Ashmedai - is (I think) the same one as in in the Munich Codex (c.1340AD) but it should also be familiar from the Quran and the 1001 Nights. And it's a pretty faithful adaptation of that (if you don't mind the device of using a talking animal commentator), and it's beautifully animated.
