2006, Baghdad is ravaged by sectarian violence. Haifa Street is the epicenter of the conflict. Ahmed gets dropped off there by a taxi on his way to his beloved Suad's home to ask for her hand for marriage, he gets shot by Salam, a sniper who's living his own personal hell on a rooftop above.

Only watch if you wish to understand the impact of war on life in Iraq. The movie highlights the nature of militia warlordism and the pervasive lawlessness brought about by war. Moreover, the inordinate impact this has on vulnerable segments of society, e g. Women and the poor. Nothing great about the movie other than a reflection of war torn Iraq.
