I love stand up. But I could tell after 8 mins this one was being phoned in. No actual new jokes or insightful observations, just Eddie Griffin getting by on personality and style with little to no substance.
I watched this thing because I am a huge fan of standup-it gets 3 stars for a couple of minor laughs but overall Eddie Griffin sounds burnt out and bitter. He said he has been in Vegas for 11 years and he acts like the cliche of a guy who Vegas has hollowed out.
