An Argentinian movie with identity issues: is it a comedy or a drama, with some hints of a thriller? It starts in a light comedic tone that fells immediately flat, when the main plot device is revealed. Then it enters into dramatic-ish territory but it also fails. The protagonist is showed as a loving father and husband, in his own particular way, then as a hypocrite and a cynic, even a sexist, and as a grieving victim at the end. The female characters are flat and while there's a nod to sorority and female empowerment, the movie does little with it. The acting feels forced and unnatural. The positive? Photography looks quite awesome, especially the aereal views from Mar del Plata and Buenos Aires. SPOILER The movie doen't know how it feels about its main plot device, its protagonist or his wifes, thus, it never finds the right tone and meanders between comedy and drama towards a third act that will leave everybody indifferent.
I didn't like this movie at all, it is not funny. It´s supposed to be a comedy but i didn't laugh even once. I not recommend this movie.
At the moment, it has a 5.3 rating out of ten and in my opinion it is a bit better than that. Argentina cinematic mainstay, Adrian Suar plays the lead role and a doctor who juggles two wives and lives as he commutes between Buenos Aires and Mar Del Plata to keep the pretence going. That he is a bigamist shocks colleague and friend played by Alan Sabbagh who makes it known he is not as lucky in love as Fernando (Suar) but it continues to play out to the end when Fernando gets into an accident and it becomes harder and harder to live the lie he has created. I enjoyed the film, it was well acted and it had a reasonable plot. I think 7 out of 10 is a reasonable score for what is a decent evenings in worth of entertainment.
He visto todas sus peliculas y esta es sin dudas la mas mala !!! El guion, las actuaciones !!Verdaderamente una ingrata sorpresa
Very good Argentine production, emblematic, fun, agile and intelligent script, great dialogues, sorority, just sinned for not cutting his balls, it would be fun, kkkk, very nice to watch...
Silly plot Bad actors. Adrian Suar always plays the same character in different situations. Do not waste your time!
Outdated movie by every angle you look at it. The actors are in general good but in this movie not even that. If it was made in 1993 it would have been a huge success in the rio de la plata, no doubt.
Great performances by all (especially the main character, funny guy), and beautiful Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata views. Nice to see a movie released in 2020 (pandemic year) that is well made. Good entertainment.
An Argentine comedy. It is about a man who has two families, two women with their selected children and uses the same routine every week to see them, but things get complicated by an accident. Quality. Entertaining It is not a film with a new story, we have already seen this in "a lover for three" with Sofía Vergara and Eduardo Verástegui or "women on the attack" with Cameron Díaz. We even saw it in novels like "Two Women One Way", "Two Homes" or "Válgame Dios" men who do the impossible to keep their women happy and not discover their double lives. Talk about revenge, about female solidarity and how we sometimes handle our impulses. Jokes and light situations. Performances in place. Just a moment is somewhat ridiculous. The end is acceptable although with the development that one has I expect something more.
It's a good argentinian comedy about love affairs, very funny
