Amazing story that you must watch again and again...
The film Vivir dos veces was released in 2019 and directed by Maria Ripoll. This film is in Spanish but Netflix has many options for any individual who would like to watch. The film follows a family through a journey of Alzheimer's. The main character Emilio is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. His daughter Julia is tasked with taking care of him and his granddaughter Blanca also helps out as well. The film follows the family though trying to fulfill a dream of Emilio's, seeing his childhood love one more time. This film is a mix between a comedy and a drama. Even though the idea of this illness is extremely sad the film shows how the family comes to get her in Emilio's time of need. Overall I enjoyed the film. I felt as if I was invested early on. However, most people will find parts of the film to be extremely sad, due to the progression of the illness. In my opinion this film is a great representation of the illness. This film educated people about Alzheimer's. The actors in the film worked really well together. All characters worked together to make the story come to live. The music and how the individuals acted represented Spain in a way that many people believe to be true. The film showed areas and the people co Spain in a very good way. Overall I would give this film a 8 out of 10. I enjoyed the film and I think many other individuals will enjoy it as well.
My family and I had a great time watching this movie together, with many laughs and some tears. The skills of the actors are very fine and professional. This movie represents very well issues from different life stages, and teaches the importance of family and dedicating time to work on fixing relationships. Someone recommended this movie to me, then after watching it I recommended it to someone else, and they were so grateful for it!
