I absolutely love and adore this show! The cast is so incredibly loving FUNNY kind and just REAL! It makes my heart full to see the beautiful traditions and culture in their Indian community. It's about time that there is a show featuring just how beautiful and family oriented these families are. I have loved their strong history, music, dance etc. The families on the series are so precious and have hearts of gold. I am so grateful to have been able to witness some of the most touching moments in their lives that they allowed to be filmed. I really hope there is another season. Crossing my fingers!!
Season one was ok to watch, Anisha's super anxious and makes you anxious watching her...a lot of typical Asian pretentiousness but still not too bad. Shame they were too tight in the production with no Bollywood music...like come on, if you're going to show the life, show it properly rather play some random instrumental stuff at the parties etc.
I was tired of watching repeated talk of the same things. How many times two female characters seem not to like or agree each other, how many times potential in-laws are in conflict with each other. This series definitely needs editing to make it more interesting. Good acting by most of the characters. Nice scenes of South East Florida could be used for Florida Tourism Department. It was kind of great to see female characters pursuing their professional goals and not ready to marry anytime soon. In summary, if one does not watch it, he/she will not miss it. There are better shows to watch for entertainment and not waste time watching this series.
This show is amazing!! The cast is so real and hysterical! The depth of characters present is incredible and honestly the parents/grandparents could have their own show. Anisha's grandpa is a gem and an icon. You never feel like the show is scripted and I truly hope they go on for more seasons than KUWTK. This show is a must watch!
I used to like this show, but with the addition of Dillon, I just can't. For him to spread rumors about his friend being in the closet is just beyond the pale. I hate his face.
Why would Bravo even green light Family Karma? Like why?
Crazy Rich Asians was so fun but this one is just about a pretentious confused bunch trying so hard to fit in!
You can tell the cast is trying really hard to stir up drama. Really hard to get through each episode and it's just simply not interesting. Seeing them throughout the show, compared to seeing them during their interviews, you can't even recognize them as being the same person. It's so weird. Stick to Shahs bravo and stop trying to make the same show just with a different demographic.
My parents are southern Greeks and extremely similar to the Indian culture that I always felt a kinship with Indian people. I was married out of arrangement and understand all the pressures of wanting to be a good role model in my community. What I enjoy about family Karma is that I get to laugh at all those things that annoy us about our culture. I love love this show!
This is an awesome reality show highlighting the lives of 7 Indian-Americans in Miami. Full of aunty drama and unintentional comedy galore, this is a must watch if you are brown, have ever tried Fair and Lovely products, or appreciate any sort of flavor or spice in your food.
