Take heed. These acts are what you come up with when scouting for talent in a fast food parking lot. The audience was barely laughing. Alan looked like he was barely laughing. I sure as heck wasn't laughing. Even Alan wasn't all that funny. Julia Shiplett was decent, but again, the audience seemed as if they were thinking 'are we supposed to laugh now?' The worst of the bunch was Nori Reed, who literally took the stage and just stood there and said absolutely nothing, as if that is funny or talent, and dressed like thay were auditioning for Toddlers and Tiara's in what could only be described as a baby-doll dress trying to attract a deranged peadophile. Absolutely nauseating. A sad moment in the otherwise lustrious career of Alan Cumming. If this is a typical evening at Club Cumming, I'll gladly pass.
This was terrible, what a sorry state of affairs for queer humor... really not funny at all. The people were so contrived and just behaving in this very stereotypical way...just not good. Im gay and this comedy makes me depressed that people will watch this and think its representative. Painful painful of all the wokeness saturating everything to the point it just sucks the life out of this really bad attempt at comedy. Hypersexualized, stereotypical, and I'd say low rent is a good description. It was incredibly predictable in so many different ways, I am worried for the culture with the direction it has taken.
