This will help you get the most out of your boxing workout, but more than that it will significantly reduce the risk of you picking up an injury. Don't make the mistake of seeing shadow boxing as part of your boxing workout warmup. Shadow boxing is a specific part of your boxing workout, it's not a warm up activity.
