People ALWAYS overthink things ESPECIALLY films, heres a perfect example. 1st off its NOT a cars spin off you morons, that was cars this is PLANES!! The main, no wait the ONLY thing a movie has to do is ENTERTAIN and sorry Charlie this movie is extremely entertaining. We all love it and the 3d bluray is fantastic so ignore the haters, dont compare it to anything and rate it based on 1 thing was it entertaining. A solid 8.5 thus the 9!!

Dusty Crophopper dreams of being a racer, he finally gets his big chance, but danger awaits. Planes mixes great humor, amazing creative visuals, and a good message filled storyline. I think people are just expecting too much from Disney, not every movie is a great princess story or song filled musical with beautiful lyrics, but the kids will still love it as will adults if they pull their sticks out of their butts. Cars 2 might have been disappointing but Planes REALLY surprised me. It also has a great ethnic diversity, so nobody can complain about that. Another Disney film deserving of classic status. Bravo Disney. Bravo!
