Dark Forces

Okay, so let's begin with the good. The effects are alright. And; it's very funny! I know it most likely wasn't supposed to be funny but I laughed out loud, and it was entertaining! And then to the bad. The story of the movie and the way it is written is full of holes. The acting is.. well, it's all hilarious :) Worth a watch if you enjoy the occasional so-bad-it's-good kind of movie :)

It was amazing... It inspired strong and masculine vibes.... Simply one of THE BEST MOVIES EVER ! Awesome acting and graphics with a unique storyline. Made my day.

I wasn't going to write a review because the ratings speaks for itself - unusual to see a Netflix movie with this low a rating - I am not adverse to low rated movies but usually have to go to Amazon Prime to get them , but this one was bad even by Amazon Prime standards. Not sure what Netflix was thinking but assume it was added to a bundle purchase - to summarize , cheesy action sequences, terrible acting , no plot or character development , sex scenes were OK but the ending was laughable straight out of an Alien rip off. If you watch it suggest you use the fast forward button a lot.

Definitely will not watch, switched off after twenty minutes I find such movies boring . I honestly like the way it was shot, two star only for the beautiful lighting, music, they have done something different in this department. The light work, location, camera work can be appreciated.

This movie is visually stunning and artfully shot. That being said, the plot is rushed, weak, and many things are left unexplained. People in this movie fight like you punch in your dreams. There are phallic objects entering people's throats. There are unexplained creepy hotel staff and unnecessarily mixed costumes from the Victorian era, the 40's, and awful 90's club wear. If you watch the film without any sound or captions, it's actually a lot less confusing.
