I've downloaded this movie because I love independent horror movies and saw some of my fellow Iranian made it. It is not a groundbreaking movie, I think it is a typical run-of-the-mill horror film. Performances are mediocre, plot is almost good, with some twists and holes. I liked the COVID theme, it made the movie relatable and fresh. All in all not a bad movie, could be better, hope to see more from the makers. Cheers.
The movie is ok. There are a couple of twists, but you can probably figure them out ahead of time - we did. There are really only two main characters and three or four bit part players, but the two girls are pretty good actresses. One aspect I really appreciated was the fact that the movie was well lit - as in normal lighting. Too many movies made today use nightlight bulb instead of room lights and it's refreshing to see that some people actually know how to light a scene. Even though this was a covid movie, there was no preachy propaganda or agenda, so that is always a plus in my book. You can just watch the movie and enjoy it as entertainment. I'm going to try to not give anything away, but the ending... It just doesn't make sense anyway you look at it. If you get it, I'd love to see a review explaining it, because I don't. Overall, it's a good movie to pass a little time. Not great, but not terrible, either.
