It's an independent movie and it shows. If you are fine with that, this was an awesome movie, to watch, with its weight rooted in the storytelling and plot. I really loved the journey the movie took me own. There was so much material, the movie had me questioning so many social realities that I did not know, or I haven't addressed. The movie does a sweet dance between multiple genres, multiple desires and multiple goals. The best part of the movie is the originality and freshness. I haven't seen any movie with a similar storyline and the performance of a few of the characters are mind blowing. The plot twist at the end was amazing and original. Enjoy.
The is nothing original, interesting or intelligent about this movie. I don't think I've ever seen a movie that I enjoyed less than this. It was just a bunch of clichés and worn out plot devices. Felt like a high school student production that plagiarises bits and pieces from far more accomplished films. The acting was amateur at best and every actor dripped of ego, from the purposely epic to the supposed "shy guy", imagine a hipster fraternity and you'd be close to the dripping sleaze of these actors. The writing fell short at every turn, like a person who uses big words to sound intelligent but comes off looking foolish. There are digital errors in the editing, it is the cheapest of cheap productions.
