UFC fighter and #15 ranked flyweight Ben Nguyen(15-5) spent part of his training camp with us at Tiger Muay Thai in preparation for his upcoming bout with #12 ranked fighter Louis Smolka(10-1) in Sioux Falls, South Dakota Wednesday July 13th. The card is headlined by Michael McDonald and John Lineker Climbing the corporate ladder in America, Nguyen, was close to giving up his MMA career until he received an opportunity to tryout for the Tiger Muay Thai team tryouts in 2012. Nguyen won a spot on the team and since then had won six in a row, including being signed by the UFC where he got a first round KO victory. Nguyen is now 2-0 in the UFC with two first round finishes.
