Shawn’s journey to the top is a story worth telling, and it all started when Shawn left The Rockers tag team. The Rockers, consisting of Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty, had a huge fan fallowing in the late 80s and early 90s. The high flying, exciting duo had been doing quite well in the World Wrestling Federation but Shawn had aspirations of becoming a solo star. A few backstage incidents would eventually lead Shawn Michaels to breaking up the team, Shawn would go on to become The Heartbreak Kid, and a huge amount of success would follow.
