next to watch
I saw this movie expecting another disappointment, this happens every time I've seen a movie based on an anime, but the opposite happened, I met a very real film about the story made into anime, it was very surprising to me to see how anime attached to this movie. I really enjoyed watching the story from the beginning of Kenshin, and see the same frame of anime made into a film narrated in a slightly different but without losing the thread of the original story. The characters are very well chosen, for a minute I was confused if I was watching the anime or movie. excellent movie, recommended 100%, even if you've never seen the anime. The film has a lot of great tricks, seems real. Well if so, I'm so anxious for the sequel.
This was a great movie to watch! As fan of the anime, I must say it was a delight to see our beloved characters come in to life. However one must remark how amazing the fight scenes were. I found myself rewinding several of them in detail. Kudos to the director and the choreography team - for they provided us realistic sword fights! It must have been quite the task to deliver the fictional "Hiten Mitsurugi" style to an actual life-action movie. So... Why isn't this samurai movie more popular among action fans? One doesn't need to read the manga beforehand in order to appreciate and enjoy this gem! Really, it stands on its own:)
