Ryan the Sensai makes his debut against the small but dangerous Lexi in this entertaining, well-fought 1 Fall matchup. The two trade numerous early near falls and keep up the pace throughout this match. Ryan controls the early stages of the bout, scoring near falls on elbow drops and legdrops. Lexi answers back with several roll-ups that nearly end the match early. Ryan keeps Lexi on the mat, delivering countless legdrops and elbow drops as well as stomps and foot chokes in the corner. It results in numerous pin attempts, but Lexi refuses to stay down, instead kicking out on the count of 2 every time. Ryan picks up the intensity as the match goes on, nailing Lexi with running kicks to the head, a crossface angel-wing submission hold, and a Fireman’s Carry. But Lexi is able to counter or kick out every time, and when she escapes a Fireman’s Carry by pulling Ryan’s hair, she turns it into a Sleeperhold. Suddenly the momentum is solidly behind Lexi. Can she finish the job, or will the newcomer earn a big mark in the win column?
