We haven't matched these two up since SLAMpeg 137! We open on a confident Jessica issuing an open challenge to the entire roster - despite her admission that it isn’t normally her thing because “you never know who’s gonna show up.” And those concerns turn out to be correct when he is joined in the ring by Malia Hosaka! Undaunted though, Jessica even agrees to Malia’s suggestion that they should have an I Quit Match! To her credit, Jessica starts the match well, holding her own against the living legend and even trapping Malia in a few holds. Unfortunately, none are enough to make Malia quit and it isn’t long before the ring veteran is firmly in control. A few well-placed chops leave Jessica vulnerable to a painful nerve pinch that is just the beginning of her suffering. What follows are a combination of legitimate (but no less painful!) wrestling holds and Malia’s less ‘official’ moves as Jessica is choked, chopped, stretched, strangled, scissored and more. Jessica holds out as long as she can, but a final pretzel hold is more than Jessica can endure and she quits. In fact, she has to quit quite a lot before Malia finally lets her go.
