This is exactly what happened in the battle between Oligov and Ji Du Yi Bu. The Chinese fighter had done his homework and knew that Oligov is a heavy gunner with his boxing skills, which is not very common amongst lighter-weight fighters. Oligov has achieved many of his victories using heavy punches go count his opponents. Therefore, Ji Du Yi Bu started the fight using kicks to control the distance, not giving Oligov many opportunities. However, Oligov kept attacking with very fast and strong combinations, which finally revealed some flaws in Ji Du Yi Bu’s defense. At the end of the first round, Oligov through a back-spin punch that let to a first count. In the second round, Oligov continued his pursuit, with strong combinations, showing hjs strength and iron fist. Ji Du Yi Bu was in a difficult situation, as he was not able to come out with a good response to the attacks. On the third round, Oligov showed signs of fatigue, which allowed Ji Du Yi Bu to attack. Nevertheless, it was already to late in the fight. Oligov kept his defense up during this last round, and with the advantage from the previous two rounds, he was able to win by points and successfully defeat Ji Du Yi Bu.
