The gender pay gap has lessened for women in their early 20s and Oxbridge admissions are higher than ever for young women. But the choices women make during their study, work and family lives still lead to inequality to disparity. Indeed, when this is looked at in detail, different women are still experiencing varying opportunities and challenges. The same applies to people more broadly because of race, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious belief, disability and caring status.
