While this is quite the statement to make, HBK may have a point. Shawn vs Diesel at WrestleMania XI featured a very competitive championship match that included two guys trying to outperform one another (maybe the first time this actually happened in a WrestleMania title match). The story of this match is very unique. Shawn Michaels wanted to have Diesel's spot yet both men were very good friends. Vince McMahon also wanted a very specific finish that would see Diesel kick out of Shawn's superkick finisher at the count of 1, and even though this was protested backstage HBK and Diesel had no choice but to do the spot; it resulted in fans booing the babyface (Diesel) and Shawn ended up winning over the audience.
