Toronto Raptors arrive in Orlando – Training Camp, Art of Espresso, the Barbershop

The Bubble: An Open Gym Documentary presented by Bell | Chapter 2 In Chapter 2 of Open Gym’s four-part documentary series on the conclusion of the 2019-2020 season, the Toronto Raptors depart for Orlando while making a statement to the league and the rest of the world: Black Lives Matter. Hear from Bobby Webster, Serge Ibaka, Kyle Lowry, Rondae Hollis Jefferson and more. After a series of Covid-19 tests and days in quarantine, the team begins to work out the kinks in practice, taking part in their first 5 on 5 action in over 4 months. The team and staff adjust to life in the bubble as players visit the onsite barbershop and GM Bobby Webster sets up “Cafe 416” in the hotel. Their first scrimmage against the Houston Rockets gives the Raptors a glimpse into what playing without fans will be like, and the team’s social justice statement jersey’s arrive in advance of games that matter.
