Daizee Haze was one of the original path-pavers for 2000s Women's Indy Wrestling. Women weren't always treated the best (and still aren't) in the wrestling business. Daizee Haze, along with other top female talent like Sara Del Rey & Awesome Kong, were catalysts in taking Women's Wrestling in the United States in a more serious and competitive direction. Daizee got her start in 2002 after being trained by Delirious & Kid Kash. Daizee was on the smaller side, but she took advantage of every inch of that ring to make sure her opponent never knew what she was bringing. Daizee was an incredibly underrated ground worker. She developed these mat skills to keep her opponents on their toes (or backs). She had many ways to tie up her opponent, as well as a ton of clever pins in her arsenal if nothing else could get the job done. Throughout most of her early to mid-career, Daizee mainly used Heart Punch combos & the Mind Trip for finishing offense. The last few years of her career she implemented the German & Tiger Suplexes, which elevated her capabilities to another level. Some of her achievements include being the main event in the first ever SHIMMER show (vs. Lacey), winning the IWA-MS Women's Title, winning ChickFight VI & winning ACW's first ever Queen Of Queen's Tournament in 2009. She was also heavily involved in the BDK Storyline in Chikara, which is considered by many to be the best story the promotion ever did. Daizee deserves a lot more credit for her part in the Women's Revolution. I felt at the very least, I could try to give her flowers by highlighting her career with a video.
