Sumie Sakai vs Shooting Star

Sumie gains the early advantage in this one prompting her, er, "follicle-y challenged" opponent to complain of hair pulling. Sumie uses lucha libre style moves to keep Shooting Star off-balance, but it is only a matter of time before she finds herself grounded by a vicious Lariat. Once he gains the advantage, Star uses every underhanded trick in the book, including blatant chokes and eye pokes. Lots of stiff, Memphis style offense from Star in this match. Every time Sumie starts to gain any steam, she is cut off by a sharp elbow or a closed fist to the head. Star doesn't take his opponent lightly and looks to put her away with some nasty slams and painful MMA-style armlocks. Sumie shows a lot of heart in this match, but is she in over her head? After some back-and-forth action, a slick reversal allows one wrestler to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
