Rising star Tray Potter wins by armbar. No Gi Submission grappling bjj 2023

A rising star on the southern grappling circuit, Tray Potter ,is back to hunting armbars. Someone in the crowd actually says Tray by armbar as the match starts. Tray opens the match with a fast single leg and moves into bodylock passing. Tray's opponent's corner is giving good advice but Tray stays one step ahead and secures the pass. Once on top Tray maintains control through movement, switching from mount to side control and back as his opponent creates little disruptions to his balance. He threatens several attacks from the mount, armbar, head and arm and eziekel chokes. A mounted triangle attempt leads to a scramble to the common ,thus effective, front headlock to back take. Once on the back Tray controls and goes to a body triangle with lock on the bottom weaker side. This is generally seen as a disadvantage. However, Tray uses this lock to switch to the armbar and after a brief hand fight gets the finish. Another win for Tray that showcases his talent. His opponent's corner was giving excellent advice but the other competitor was unable to act on it, as Tray controlled the match from start to finish.
