Next week Vince McMahon makes a huge announcement regarding the purchase of World Championship Wrestling, and pro wrestling will never be the same again. On WCW Nitro Eric Bischoff calls in to drop some really big news; the Fusient Media deal has fell through and Bischoff will not be purchasing WCW as originally planned. Eric makes it clear that next week's Nitro could very well be the final time WCW is aired on TBS, and so he wants to make it special by making a special "Night of Champions" celebration. Not only is every former World Champion invited to Nitro next week, but he also books Scott Steiner vs Booker T in a title vs title match. Shane McMahon appears on Raw and he's brought a match contract. Shane wants to face Vince at the grandest stage of them all, and not only does Mr. McMahon agree he also sets up an ambush on his own son.
