Rain vs Santana

Angel Williams oversees this Best 3 Out of 5 Falls contest as referee, and it's quite clear that Santana's going to be fighting an uphill battle as Angel "checks" Rain for weapons. The match starts innocently enough, with the two trading holds, until Rain gets a Side Headlock and jams a punch into Santana's face! After attacking with a choke and a big forearm, Rain takes the first fall with a jackknife cradle, making sure to put her feet on the ropes (which Angel conveniently ignores). The second fall ends as quickly as it begins, with Angel disqualifying Rain for "being a jerk" or as some might call it, "using a baseball bat on Santana's ribs and abdomen." Fall 3 continues this theme as Rain batters Santana's mid-section and locks in a painful stomach claw. The bat comes into play once again, with Rain going after Santana's knee, which leads to another disqualification and a 2-1 lead for Santana. Not that Rain seems to care. Fall 4 sees Rain tie up the score with an excruciating submission hold targeting that targets Santana's damaged knee. In the final fall, Rain tries to bring the bat back into the ring, but Angel isn't having it and the ensuing tug-of-war leaves Rain on her butt! Unfortunately, Santana can't capitalize, as her injuries stop her from hitting her Shining Star Press. Rain quickly moves in for the kill, landing a trio of devastating maneuvers that allow her to shove Santana's limp body out of the ring and take the deciding fall via count-out. With the match won, a stunning DDT shows where real alliances lay (hint: it's all about the money).
