Mercedes Martinez vs Veda Scott

Veda has Mercedes on the run from the start as she works the veteran over with armwringers, Hammerlocks, fingerlocks and armbars. The stunned Martinez kicks the canvas in frustration as Veda wrenches her shoulders with a bridging double Hammerlock. Mercedes is a veteran who isn’t about to be steamrolled so easily. She lays into Veda’s exposed abs with slaps before nailing her with punches to the face to seize the momentum and soon Veda is fighting for air against vicious boot and rope chokes. The dazed Scott is leveled with a pair of Clotheslines and buried deep in the corner from a trio of shoulderblocks. Veda is nearly put down with a Cobra Clutch but refuses to go out! Veda counters Mercedes onslaught with a well-executed Suplex that sends her crashing to the canvas as the pair battle on. In the end it’s a prolonged Dragon Sleeper that ends the fight with a knockout after a tightly contested back-and-forth match.
