Lorelei and Rhia are all business in this match, jogging enthusiastically into the ring and locking up with nary a minute of showboating. This doesn’t, however, mean that they’re both willing to act like consummate professionals. Rhia starts off by punching Lorelei in the throat with a chain wrapped around her fist, despite the presence of referee Brandi Wine. She continues working the throat with elbows off the ropes, judiciously applied knees and chokeholds, keeping Lorelei perennially out of breath. She’ll mix things up with some agonizing armbars, abdominal claws and even some biting but eventually regresses right back to punishing Lorelei’s vulnerable neck. We won’t lie–this is a total massacre. Lorelei doesn’t get in an iota of defense. As her trachea is ripped to shreds, she can offer only screams and by the time she yields to an extended abdominal claw, Rhia’s victory pose can only be interpreted as an act of mercy as it means that she’s finally stopped torturing her unsuspecting victim.
