Champion La Rosa Negra takes on Mila in a Best of 5 title match, and it takes less than a minute before La Rosa Negra has earned the first fall with a Boston Crab. La Rosa rains down forearms, kicks and knees, takes down Mila with a leg sweep, and turns it into a unique Headlock on the mat that has Mila tapping and giving La Rose a commanding 2-0 lead. It seems like this match is destined to end quickly, but Mila battles back and the 2 trade strikes, submissions, and finishers for nearly 20 minutes in this entertaining, surprisingly competitive bout. A long third fall sees La Rosa take the early advantage, only for Mila to battle back with forearms, stomps and kicks in the corner. She traps La Rosa in a Camel Clutch, and while the champ escapes in a most creative (and unsanitary) manner, it’s not long before Mila connects on the DDT to earn a fall. She ties it up soon after, winning the fourth fall in a manner that’s not seen very often. The final fall sees the two pulling out all the stops, resorting to punches, chokes, and even biting to try to get the upper hand and pull out the decisive fifth fall. Despite a clear nagging injury, one grappler is able to trap her foe in a submission hold and force her to top out to end this brutal battle.
