Learn from Legends: http://www.legendarystriking.com Xu Xiao Dong is an MMA fighter / Gym owner with Sanda, Muay Thai, and boxing background on the feet. He has been taking challenge matches against various traditional kung fu masters, calling them out for their inflated claims and dogma. Xiao Dong is now a celebrity from these challenge matches, and this kung fu master was offered a whopping $450,000 to show up for the match and $4.5 million if he wins. No surprise here, the kung fu master displayed no technique, chucked haymakers and sprayed and prayed. Xiao Dong used basic striking technique to defend until the kung fu master tired himself out. He chucked a few brutal elbows, which cut the kung fu master. For some weird reason, the kung fu master got patched up by the doctors and sent out to fight again. Xiao Dong honored that courage by only throwing low kicks. Anytime you chuck a punch with your weight on it, the legs are susceptible to getting blasted. As much as I hate that these matches go viral and attracts blood thirsty fans, they are important to let the world know that full contact sparring and fighting is the real deal. These type of matches change the landscape of aspiring martial artists who are easily influenced. The truth is that this is nothing new in historic matches, just that now there's a world stage and the internet behind it.
