King in the Ring 8 Man Eliminator Series 2015

The King in the Ring Eliminator Series set out to find the top of the Trans Tasman heavyweight division in a last man standing tournament format. The Aussie team had a strong line up, determined to beat the Kiwi’s on their home turf. The New Zealand team had a couple of surprise contenders, moving up weight classes intent on dominating the heavyweight division, and one in particular suceeded on this mission. The top eight fighters squared off under international K-1 rules, bringing together their own techniques born from kickboxing, boxing, muay thai, kung fu, kyokushin karate, and other martial arts, to battle it out in a survival series of explosive, three-round elimination bouts. In the end, 'The Style Bender' Israel Adesanya was too hard to beat, taking his third King in the Ring title in style. Eight Fighters. Two Countries. ONE King.
