Despite coming in on the back of an earlier tough match, Santana holds her own in the opening moments of the bout as the action goes back and forth whilst both women look to gain control. Kay Lee is the first to significantly achieve this, working Santana's thighs in a painful hold and dishing out some stinging chops. The match continues in much the same manner, with Santana offering a little resistance, but repeatedly finding herself locked into another painful submission maneuver from Kay Lee. A seeming last chance at victory from Santana sees her missing a Shining Star Press, allowing Kay Lee to lock on a tight armbar. A win for one of these women is now imminent.
