Jennifer Blake & Chris Gray vs The Merchants of Doom

A 1 Fall intergender tag team match has Jennifer Blake getting a little help from Chris Gray to take on the brutish Merchants of Doom. Jennifer and Chris are giving up a lot of weight in this one, but they don't let that get them down and Gray starts off taking the match right to the Angel of Death, showing off some some solid fundamentals before tagging in Jennifer. Jennifer keeps up the pace as best she can, but it's not long before she finds herself cut off from the friendly half of the ring and in the Merchants' corner, where they go to work with classic tag team strategy-quick strikes and fast tags. A distracted referee offers the Merchants more opportunity for flagrant doubleteaming and Jennifer absorbs a lot of punishment with punishing shoulder tackles to her midsection, being hung over the ropes, and even caught in a nasty Tree of Woe. The punishment continues for Jennifer, who has to escape a couple of near pinfalls before a desperation move can buy her enough time to make her escape and tag in her partner. As Chris struggles to regain some momentum for his team, the referee begins losing control as the action grows more and more chaotic, eventually leading to a sudden, and rather surprising, ending. Fans of solid, traditional tag team wrestling are not going to want to miss this one!
