Haley J vs Appollo Starr

After a couple false starts & a rope breaks, Haley challenges Appollo to a test of strength to really get their 1 fall matchup moving. Instead, Haley kicks him the gut and locks on a side headlock, which Appollo quickly turns into a crunching Suplex. Haley powers her way out of a Headlock and delivers a running Monkey Flip from the corner. Haley takes control with a whip into the corner and a series of running knees to the back against the turnbuckles. Haley takes down Appollo and earns a 1 count, but Appollo explodes with a torrent of forearm blasts, then rams Haley face-first into all 4 top turnbuckles. A headbutt grounds Haley, and Appollo then twists her into a pretzel on the mat, but Haley refuses to submit. Appollo delivers a few massive fists to the head, whips Haley to the opposite corner, and nails her with a running Clothesline against the turnbuckles. Appollo is firmly in control of the match, but both competitors have shown their ability to take advantage of their opponents’ mistakes. Can Haley find an opening to turn the tide, or does Appollo have this match in the bag?
