GDE's Introduction to Puzzle Explorer

Hi Kids! Game Design Ed here! I'm here with a prerelease version of a new kids game from Fingerprint called “National Geographic Puzzle Explorer”! It’s a great new game where you take a National Geographic photo expedition around the world complete with real National Geographic photographs and trivia to so you can learn about the different locations and cultures that you visit. Additionally, through step-by-step multimedia instructions, it teaches kids the fundamentals of game design: game design techniques and terms, rapid prototyping and iteration, creative problem solving, and just basic logic skills. All great things for game design, sure, but also for computer science and, well, life in general! It’s a lot of fun! I’m not here to try and convince you to download Puzzle Explorer once it’s available, though I think you should if you are interested in learning about game design. Rather, I’ll be using Puzzle Explorer as an instructional tool to show some game design techniques in future videos.
