Liverpool right back Jeremie Frimpong admits everyone wants to win against them as they are the current reigning champions of the Premier League. 00:00 INTRO 00:20 “I feel really good you know. I'm from Manchester so to be back in the UK is really nice and to play for a team like Liverpool is a privilege. Everybody wants to play in the Champions League. We are going to give it our all. 00:45 “Sometimes football goes your way, sometimes it doesn't. We try our best every game and sometimes it doesn't work out. 1:25 “In the Champions League we are doing good and are in a good position. If we win tomorrow we qualify for the last 16. We are still in the FA Cup and the Champions League. 2:09 It's been really nice playing for Liverpool, playing at Anfield for the first time was amazing. Playing Premier League teams is as I expected, even the bottom team gives you a challenge.” 2:43 on low block: I'm pretty comfortable going one against one against players, I know what I can do. I believe in my ability. If you play against a low block you have to break through that somehow. 3:30 The Premier League is the best league out there. Bundesliga is still a top, top league but there's a big difference playing against the teams. It's much more demanding, much more physical. It is diferent. 4:10 Frimpong in defending champions: Liverpool are the reigning champions and everyone wants to beat us. That's normal. People want to beat the champions so in a sense it's similar to Leverkusen (last season). If you become champions, you are the bad guy. 5:15 Frimpong on Bournemouth: When it happens it's really frustrating and annoying especially the scruffy goal, last minute throw in. You can be angry on that day but the next day you switch on to the next match. Me and my team-mates are focused on Qarabag. Comparison v Leverkusen: This game was like a rollercoaster, I think we were 2-0 or 3-0 down and managed to get back. So I know how good they are. They are Champions League level for sure. It's not going to be an easy challenge.
