Dynamite Didi vs Sean Maluta

After locking up to open the match, Didi nails Sean with a shoulderblock and immediately goes for the cover, garnering a 1 count. It sets the tone for this matchup, which features plenty of action, tons of offense from both competitors, and so many near falls, it’ll make your head spin. Didi controls a majority of the offense in this matchup, delivering shoulderblocks, chokes, forearm smashes and clubs to the back to wear down Sean. A Running Bulldog just a few minutes into the match gives Didi a 2 count, and working over Sean on the mat with Side Headlocks and headscissors soon lead to a few more near falls. Didi continues to keep Sean grounded with leg sweeps, shoulderblocks, a throat thrust, and a nasty Suplex. Sean battles back with a Headbutt that rattles Didi, and Sean immediately follows it up with a Samoan Drop after an Irish Whip off the ropes. Sean continues to attack with kicks and chops, but when Didi gets a foot up to deliver a kick to a charging Sean, it’s Didi who’s back in control. The two continue to battle with Sean nailing a running forearm in the corner, Didi connecting on an awesome top rope-assisted stunner, and a running Swanton. But it’s a missed opportunity that allows one wrestler to find the opening to deliver the blow that finally earns the 3 count.
