Drone terror attack at White House UFC event foiled, FBI says

Federal law enforcement foiled a planned attack targeting the UFC fight night at the White House over the weekend that coincided with President Donald Trump's 80th birthday, according to court documents. The plot allegedly included flying explosives-laden drones and shooting at panicked crowd members as they fled. The FBI said it obtained encrypted text messages between roughly 20 participants who shared detailed maps of the area and discussed the need for a “safe house” and escape routes after the attack, the documents show.
