These are matches and moments that had huge expectations behind them but ultimately failed to deliver in the ring, in the booking, or in the overall presentation. WrestleMania is supposed to be the grandest stage in professional wrestling. It’s where legendary matches are made, rivalries reach their peak, and WWE delivers moments that fans remember for decades. But sometimes the hype is bigger than the result. Some of the matches featured in this video include Roman Reigns vs The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33, a match that was meant to be an emotional passing-of-the-torch moment but instead became known for the botches and mistakes. We also revisit Bret Hart vs Bob Backlund from WrestleMania XI, an "I Quit" match that had an interesting concept but struggled to connect with the live audience. Another controversial example is John Cena vs Cody Rhodes, a match that generated enormous hype among WWE fans but left many viewers debating creative decisions (especially around the finish).
