On February 9, 2018, at the M-1 Arena in St. Petersburg, three-time South American MMA champion Jadison Dimitri Silva Da Costa (Brazil), 23-8, nicknamed "Titan," faced one of Russia's top featherweight fighters, Timur Nagibin (Novy Potok, Storm School, and Fighter Club), 13-3, as part of the international tournament M-1 Challenge 87. Brazilian fighter Jadison Dimitri Silva Da Costa had been competing in professional mixed martial arts for almost 10 years, during which time he had fought 31 times, winning 23 of them. He had won belts from the Brazilian organizations Watch Out Combat Show and Iron Man, and also won the Peru FC championship in Peru. The Brazilian's main weapons are devastating pain and choke holds – 16 times his opponents were forced to tap out. Jadison is a seasoned grappler, a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, a two-state champion in this martial art, and a Black Belt Cup winner. After a string of successful fights, Timur Nagibin finally earned a championship shot. However, in the fourth round of the title fight, he was caught in a choke hold. He refused to give up and fought back with all his might, but lost consciousness. Six months have passed since then, and Timur has recovered from that defeat. A new champion has already emerged in his weight class, and the fighter from Novy Potok, the Storm School, and the Boyets Club needed to earn points again to regain his status as a contender. Timur Nagibin's power, incredible strength, and aggressive style collided in this fight with the vast experience and supreme ground fighting skill of Jadison Dimitri Silva Da Costa. Their fight served as the co-main event of the upcoming tournament, and spectators were entitled to expect a great spectacle. #Knockout #Fight #Battle
