Athena vs Marti Belle

This match opens with quite a vocal crowd in the ring, setting up some rather interesting circumstances. Referee Jessicka Havok states right off that she’ll put up with no nonsense and that anything goes during this contest, not to mention producing a baseball bat as the only weapon the contestants are allowed to use! Wrestlers Athena and Marti Belle are pretty antagonistic and ready to go even as Su Yung tries to run some interference for the latter, only to be ordered out of the ring by Jessicka. Further chaos ensues as the two opponents flex their biceps and Marti accuses Jessicka of bias for acknowledging Athena’s superior musculature. That same superior musculature allows Athena to win a test of strength in about 2 seconds, get Marti in a corner, slap her and evict her from the ring, all in quick succession. Once back in the ring, she’s battered with further punching and kicking until Marti’s ally Su trips Athena up. Given the ‘anything goes’ stipulation, there’s little Jessicka can do as Su enters the ring and the dastardly duo proceed to double team poor Athena. Double Suplex, double splashes, double Clotheslines…if it’s painful, Athena experiences it. Twice over. Eventually, the bat is brought into play in order to beat Athena into submission outside the ring. Inside the ring, it’s a chair in Su’s hands that delivers the punishment. Given the odds, it’s no surprise that Athena is eventually pinned but the shocker comes when Jessicka brings order to the chaos by Powerbombing Marti and bouncing Athena and Su from pillar to post.
