An old school test of strength to open this 1 Fall Match takes on a humorous note when April is simply too tall for Kelsey to lock up with. When they finally lock in the test of strength, what follows is a remarkable series of maneuvers—including a Monkey Flip—while maintaining the test of strength lock-up. A Kelsey Headbutt breaks the lock-up and the two trade forearm blows until April gains the upper hand with her powerful strikes. She chokes Kelsey against the ropes, then locks on a double Chickenwing, stomps to the midsection, drops a leg to Kelsey’s gut, and stretches out her leg. After grabbing the ropes, Kelsey comes back firing with forearms and a foot choke in the corner, then a Snapmare takes April to the mat and into a Rear Chinlock. Another test of strength leads to several more near falls, leading to one grappler straddling her foe and literally pounding her into the mat with forearm strikes until her downed opponent is unable to resist the impending 3 count.
