Angel Williams vs Ivelisse

There’s quite a surfeit of energy and enthusiasm in the ring during this banter-filled match. In between the athletes’ eagerness to take each other down and the bubbly demeanor of referee Kimberly and bell ringer Santana, we’re all covered on the personality front. As it turns out, we also do pretty well on the combat skills front as the ladies take it to each other tooth and nail. Angel challenges Ivelisse to a test of strength, but the latter just kicks her in the stomach and takes the battle into the corner. Angel soon fights back with similar kicks to the gut and a tight Headlock. Ivelisse puts up an impressive display of strength, lifting Angel over her shoulder with shocking ease, but the blonde wiggles into a Sunset Flip. The match goes back and forth repeatedly. There’s an extended bit of mat wrestling as the pair apply Front Facelocks, Armbars and chokeholds. They even take matters outside the ring, where Ivelisse is battered with a whiteboard, followed by a combination choke/bodyscissors clamped on tightly by Angel. But Ivelisse won’t let herself be upstaged on the combo move front–she applies a combo Waistscissors/Full Nelson! Ultimately, which of the several showcased submissions will cause which lady to tap is anybody’s guess!
