Amber O'Neal vs Lexie Fyfe

Back to the pre-letter box days we go for a classic chapter in this long-running rivalry. It’s 2 out of 3 falls and both the ref and Lexie want it to be clean but Amber has other ideas, namely non stope choking and illegal use of the ropes! Lexie is quickly overwhelmed by O’Neal’s vile tactics and when a Suplex knocks the wind out of her and her throat not allowing any in she’s pinned giving Amber a quick 1st fall. Needless to say Lexie’s none too happy with that result and sets about punishing Amber for her transgression. While O’Neal gets her offense here and there, mostly cheap shots and choking, for the most part she’s put through a meat grinder of classic holds. Lexie’s not only trying to take the 2nd fall but set her up for the 3rd and to that end works Amber’s shoulders, abs and her at that time recently repaired knee. Amber’s resilience is considerable but equaled by Lexie’s persistence, this is personified as Fyfe locks in a Sleeper and even when Amber’s arm won’t drop a 3rd time Lexie won’t relinquish the hold until the match is knotted at 1 fall each. Amber’s in denial she went to sleep but nonetheless the deciding fall proceeds with both pulling out all the stops. Controversy abounds as a second sleeper ends it, only it doesn’t thanks to some brilliant ring awareness. Did the recipient of the luck take advantage or merely prolong the inevitable as a 3rd Sleeper decides a wild 3rd fall!
