Amanda Ruffin vs Brooke Carter

Two talented grapplers square off in a Best of 3 Falls Submissions Only bout. Some chain wrestling to start with both ladies trading armwringers, Headlocks, Hammerlocks and Headscissors. It isn't until Brooke targets Amanda's knee that the advantage clearly shifts to Carter. A wise strategy, because after enduring several minutes of torture to the injured body part, Ruffin has no choice but to submit to Brooke 's modified legbar. Copying Carter's game plan to some extent, Amanda starts the Second Fall by focusing on Brooke's legs. This one is all Amanda Ruffin as she locks her opponent in Figure Four Leglocks, a Boston Crab, and other painful maneuvers. Eventually it's an over-the-knee Backbreaker that drives Brooke to the point of surrender, evening the score at 1 Fall each. The all-important third fall is anyone's ballgame with each wrestler throwing the rule book out of the window. Biting, choking...these ladies will do whatever it takes to win. In the end, a double Chickenwing and Full Nelson don't get the job done, but an expertly applied inverted Cobra Clutch renders one combatant unconscious. Though it's technically not a tapout, a "lights-out" will do just fine to achieve victory!
