Amanda Rodriguez vs Katie Forbes

Amanda pits her speed and technique against Katie’s raw power in this short but hotly contested 1 Fall matchup. Amanda uses a Hiptoss to take the action to the mat, but Katie quickly traps her in a Headscissors to slow down Amanda. A test of strength goes Amanda’s way when she takes Katie down with a leg sweep and locks on a seated Full Nelson. She moves into a double Chickenwing with Katie still on the mat, then goes back to the Full Nelson with an added bodyscissors. Katie eventually makes it to the ropes to force a break. Katie uses her power in the ensuing lockup to toss Amanda to the canvas, then applies a wrenching Front Facelock and bodyscissors that Amanda simply cannot escape from. After struggling to get back to even ground, one wrestler manages to apply a submission hold on the mat that her opponent has no option but to tap out. But the victor refuses to break the hold even after the bell, instead cranking up the pressure and adding insult to injury to the defeated wrestler.
