So happy with the sequel to StS!! Ironclad's upfront playstyle was always my favorite in the original and the newly added cards give him so much build variety that I'm thrilled to try them all. Self-damage builds are no longer a meme and building around Strike cards feels much more viable (you can see for yourself in the video😉). For everyone that doesn't know, Ascension is a series of optional modifiers that make the game more challenging (they are cumulative). Here are all the Ascension levels: Swarming Elites (1): Elites spawn more often. Weary Traveler (2): Ancients only heal 80% of your missing HP. This includes Neow at the start of the game. Poverty (3): Enemies and Treasure Chests drop 25% less Gold. Tight Belt (4): Start each run with 1 less potion slot. Ascender's Bane (5): Start each run with an Ascender's Bane (Curse card). Gloom (6): Less Rest Sites. Scarcity (7): Rare and Upgraded cards appear less often. Tough Enemies (8): All enemies are harder to kill. Deadly Enemies (9): All enemies have deadlier attacks. (MAX Level) Double Boss (10): Fight two Bosses at the end of Act 3. Looking forward to what the devs are cooking up for the full release of the game!!
