By throwing the Foul Potion at the Fake Merchant during the event, you can initiate a secret fight to get all of his wares for free. You get the Foul Potion from another Event where you meet a potion courier that was headed for the merchant. Normally the Merchant would've paid 100 gold for the Foul Potion, but the Fake Merchant initiates a fight instead lol The Merchant's Rug??? is an interesting item because it makes me wonder if it's possible to actually get the real version of it?
