Eric Bischoff and Ted Turner challenged Vince McMahon by producing WCW Nitro, airing on TNT every Monday at same time as the WWF’s flagship Monday Night Raw show. Fans and viewers had a choice, they could check out superstars of the WWF or they could see what this new WCW television show was all about. This era in wrestling, known as the “Monday Night Wars”, has become legendary to fans who lived through this particular time period. Many would say that wrestling was at it’s absolute peek during the Monday Night Wars between World Championship Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation. This series takes a look at each week of the iconic Monday Night Wars. We have arrived at episode 12, it’s the 27th of November 1995. WCW have just finished up with their November Pay Per View where Macho Man Randy Savage became the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Over on the WWF side, another new champion was beginning his third reign, Bret “The Hitman” Hart had defeated Diesel at the Survivor Series 1995 PPV and he was getting prepared to defend the title against all challengers.
